Homebuilders raise the roof
So far this year, the Twin Cities has been one of the busiest areas for homebuilders by a long shot. As more jobs are being created in the metro area, the market for building single-family homes for entry-level professionals is heating up and demand for newly constructed apartments is decreasing. Homebuilders in the Twin Cities had their best September in a decade, while apartment developers had one of their worst.
